It is the most expensive paperweight I own now. I used the line 6 updater and the amp won’t load It and the phone app keeps asking to update the firmware and then I load the firmware again and same thing happens. With amp connected to Bluetooth, the app hangs on the splash screen for about a minute then crashes. If I start the app first, then turn on the amp, it works most of the time. I need to go to get certain sounds. When it works. It works fine. Most of the time it disconnects in the middle of a session. I have yet, now having it for four months, been able to get through a single session without the app disconnecting, the interesting part of it disconnecting is, it’s only the app that disconnects my brand new iPad stays connected. I can still be playing the backing track / back up music through the amplifier with Bluetooth but the app says it’s not connected. I’ve tried restarting the iPad tablet. still tells me it’s not connected, I think it was a waste of money to purchase the amp. I do not recommend this purchase. If you can get it to connect, it usually stays, but if one switches between apps it will likely drop. -- cfin6718, 2021-10-11 ### **--- "Could be better" I’ve had an AmplFi TT for a number of years now and a similar problem with this app. I can connect to the AMPLIFi TT with no problem, it’s staying connected that is the problem. I will be playing along with a song and suddenly it loses Bluetooth connection. Very frustrating. I have to restart the song. It would seem Line 6 doesn’t care anymore about the AMPLIFi TT or the app. I have the latest version (2.61 build 104) and the hardware has the latest “Device Flash”. Had I known this before purchasing I would not have made it. Too bad, it’s a good device when it works correctly. -- USNavyChiefRet, 2021-08-14 ### *---- "Stuck on Fidelity Lead - Connection Issues" It is a shame that this beautiful product comes handicapped by this remote app. It honestly hinders my guitar playing. It is supposed to be an easy practice amp but never connects to your tones. It has the worst default tone of all time, and I am stuck on this Fidelity Lead, terrible sounding distortion. I read that deleting the app and re-downloading before each use can help give you better chances of syncing to your tones. The weird thing is that it says bluetooth is connected to the actual speaker and will play music or fidelity lead. The software just won’t sync and load your tones or let you take control. I’ve been dealing with this for years now. If anyone knows a better way please help!
