Dark mode for the app is the only thing I’m left wanting.

The hardware & software set up, interface, and experience is the best I’ve had in a while. I thought maybe companies forgot how to do this. Great to find one that hasn’t.

Alien Router supports IPv6 and properly pulls an IPv6 address from your ISP but this app is unable to pass the Alien router an IPv6 address for a DNS server. Big problem if you use a connected network on OpenDNS, which thinks it’s not getting queries because your connectivity is IPv6 but you’re still sending queries to the IPv4 address. This should be a very simple fix.

I have had Orbis, TP-Link, Asus, etc. But the best performer that I’ve ever owned is the Alien Amplify, hands down. 2 mesh units light my entire 4,200SF house with 850+ down and 750+ up.

Love the features of this app… would like to see more connection info/ statistics. Really needs dark mode though.

The latest April 2023 brakes app.

Latest update causing issues viewing mesh configuration. Why do these major companies ruin something that was working great and make it crap. Since this latest update I am no longer able to see my mesh configuration. Fix it!!!!

Ever since this upgrade I’ve been locked out of the app. It just says oops something went wrong. Support says to reset my device. Seriously? Edit: contacted support and they helped me. Apparently there’s an account password, a wifi password, AND and administrator password that can all be different. I tried my WiFi password which worked. I don’t remember setting up that password, but I kept trying my ubiquiti account password which didn’t work. Very confusing, I’m glad I didn’t have to reset all my devices and reconfigure from scratch.

The latest version gave me problem of can’t access my configuration of the router and asking for password. I did put in the password and won’t let me access.
