Description

Amplosion automagically redirects AMP pages/links to their normal counterparts within Safari using an easy and elegant Safari extension.
Activating it is super simple with just a few taps in the Settings app (full walkthrough in-app), and then you're good to go. Amplosion will automatically redirect AMP links you encounter, and you can even permit certain websites to continue to display AMP by adding them to the Allowlist. Amplosion shows how many times it has activated with a beautiful flip counter at the top of the app so you can see how many times it's saved the day. There's also a myriad of beautiful app icons to choose from.
It's completely open source, so with this transparency you can verify everything about the extension.
Awesome home screen widgets are included as well, featuring the flip counter so you can see how many times Amplosion has activated right from your home screen.
As a bonus, it features a lovable digital dog that lives in the app named Lord Waffles, and a beautiful story about him and his turtle friend Rascal. There's also a widget for Lord Waffles!

Garbage

Worked for the first week after I bought the app. Doesn’t redirect anything now. ☹️

3 months after launch Google has a workaround

Sad to say this no longer works and an update is needed as google has a workaround and I’m back to AMP bull.

Would be a 5, but doesn't redirect *all* AMP links

Mostly when browsing google images and the image is hosted on reddit. Surprised that something related to reddit was overlooked, considering this same developer made Apollo and is intimately familiar with Reddit. Also it seems it is no longer Open Source, for completely valid reasons, but it is still being described as such. Overall though, great app/extension

No more AMP

I’ve always hated AMP, so it’s great to be rid of it. Thanks Amplosion.

Works 80% of the time

Seems to fail on google images links and occasionally on regular links in search results, have had trouble with the New York Times especially.

If there’s one thing I hate with a passion, it’s AMP links! Finally something that can stop them! And it’s open source?!

Ok this does what?

I mean according to the app there has been zero activity. For as much ad I surf the net you would think this paid for app would have some purpose. All i have is a dog and empty data.
