Amsterdam Light Festival

With the Amsterdam Light Festival app you will get everything out of your walking experience! The festival app contains the route map, artwork descriptions, an audio guide, interesting technical facts, artist biographies, and much more. Amsterdam Light Festival has been illuminating the city since 2012. As a cultural foundation that receives no structural funding, we are dependent on the contribution of our visitors.
THE APP:
- The home page features news items and important updates about the festival.
- In the menu more information can be found about Edition 13, the experiences, practical matters and FAQs.
- Through an in-app purchase the route map with artwork information becomes visible.
THE ROUTE MAP:
- The map with location services serves as a guide along the festival route.
- Users can swipe between artwork icons. Tapping an icon reveals more information about the artwork.
- For every artwork there is written information and an audio guide.
- Information points, the Light Garden and takeaway offers are als indicated on the map.
- By zooming in, street names and other reference points become visible.
