Ananda is a global movement based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, who showed how everyone can realize God in their daily lives as a tangible, loving reality. You can expand your sense of harmony, and gain an increased sense of God’s active presence in your life through ancient and effective techniques including meditation, Kriya Yoga, spiritually oriented Hatha Yoga, community, and divine friendship. Ananda was founded in 1968 by Yogananda’s direct disciple, Swami Kriyananda, who passed away in 2013. Swami Kriyananda’s spiritual successor is Nayawami Jyotish who, along with his wife Nayaswami Devi, serves as Ananda’s spiritual director. I was using the app and it worked great since the beginning of this year (2020). After the very recent upgrade it does not work at all. The meditations do not load and my custom ones (that I had to rebuild because they did not come over with the update) only work randomly, and have never completely worked through a session. Please bring back the original app! -- CMJ Auburn, 2020-11-19 ### ***** "Miracle of apps for meditation" I love the customize section of this app. Suddenly, I’m not looking for what I need. I have made it with this app. My morning meditations are blessed so much more now! -- Subway tile, 2020-11-04 ### ***** "I love this meditation app!" Thank you and many blessings -- block, 2020-07-08 ### ***** "Meditation sublime!" A truly wonderful app that really teaches you to take stock of your current lifestyle and eliminate attitudes and beliefs that have had the effect over many lifetimes of distancing you from God. It makes you realize where and how you have gone astray and shows you how to get back again to where you are meant to be! -- Sammy Twitchnose, 2020-06-05 ### ***** "Won’t Open" I love this app and use it everyday, twice a day, faithfully. So imagine my disappointment in finding the app crashes every time I open it. Please fix soon...please! -- reereeeally, 2020-04-25 ### ***** "Love this" Thanks for putting up a free app like this. I am alive just by doing your meditations in this app and all the breath exercises -- 1Happy23, 2020-04-13 ### ***** "Incredible!"
