I have been spending a lot of time looking into my background and finding out information that I had not previously known. Very informative and easy to use.

Tried the app instead of the browser but it doesn’t work properly

Just seems to crash a lot, the links don’t always work, it hasn’t loaded everything that I have done using the browser either which is frustrating as it won’t let me do it in the app. Even conned into the monthly subscription but can’t do anything with it? Hopefully and update will sort it

Frustrating

Frustrating trying to add potential father or mother, you press on it and it gives you nothing. I’m thinking of ditching this I’m so annoyed.

Value for time and money

At the moment ancestry is neither. I can’t print anything from the app or the web so cannot make any progress. Can’t get through on phone for help. Don’t know what to do. Fed up

Disappointed

I’m really disappointed that ancestry have taken away the free viewing of shared matches. It’s a Shame and only can come down to greed. I’m really not interested opening ancestry anymore. What’s the point.

App not working

The app has recently stopped working glitches when signing in require me to restart the app. Then when I’m in sometimes trees disappear, or I can’t seem to add anyone to the tree.

Full of bugs!

Ok for seeing the tree but click on a hint or potential mother or father and nothing happens. Have to open the laptop and go on the website. So frustrating. Response was to look at Q&A (nothing hadn’t done) or email mobile team with my iOS, app and ancestry details. I had contacted directly before and just told to update the app. My phone iOS and app are up to date. Please just sort your buggy app! Don’t send us round in circles

Interesting

It’s a good app don’t get me wrong but it barely works half the time I PAY MONEY for an app I can’t use it won’t let me add people, delete them, add documents ect..VERY BUGGY AND GLITCHY sort it out. Also would like to edit NOW you have to be subscribed to a membership to review potential ancestors which wasn’t a requirement before this is absolutely ridiculous I hate this app and everyone involved with it xxxxx

Signed for an annual membership to discover a very much substandard experience consistently being asked to upgrade for additional services to do what I would expect the service I paid for to do as a minimum

Hate having to wade through other people’s trees

I loved ancestry until it changed and now you have to wade through other people’s trees. I only want to see records. Previously you had to ask for records for them to come up. I have been a member on and 0ff for 20 years but probably will not renew again.
