## Anchor Alarm with Late Set Description
ANCHOR ALARM
The Anchor Alarm app lets you feel safe and secure when on anchor. 
You get instant alerts and notifications when your anchor drags or the GPS reception degrades. 

The app comes with an option for late set: in case you forget to set the alarm when you drop the anchor, you can still do it later. 
You can also adjust the anchor position manually on the map screen.
You can also manually enter the anchor coordinates, in case you saved them on another device.
If you decide to take your device ashore, you can pause the alarm and reactivate it later, when you return.

CUSTOM AREA
You can choose between circular area or you can draw a custom area on the map. 

The boat movement is recorded and a track is displayed on the map screen.
The app runs in the background and requires no internet connection.
The app supports dark mode and has simple and native user interface. 

REMOTE MONITORING
Peace of mind, wherever you are. 
With Remote Monitoring, leave one device on your boat and keep track from another in your pocket - so you’ll always know your boat is safe.

FIND MY BOAT
The app can remember the location of your boat when you leave and point you to its location later. 
In can also point to your last anchor position in case you forgot to set the boat position.
Useful in crowded anchorages or when on your dinghy.

ANCHORAGES MAP
The app includes a map of more than 8000 anchorages around the world for free, showing depths where available.

FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE
The application allows you to personalize your experience through customizable settings such as:
• measurement units
• alarm sounds
• GPS accuracy threshold
• The time before a bad GPS accuracy alarm is triggered

APPLE WATCH APP
The app supports Apple Watch. In addition to the distance to the anchor and GPS accuracy, you can monitor the boat speed and heading.

SIRI SUPPORT
You can create Siri shortcuts to start and stop monitoring.

### ***** "My favorite anchoring app"
We are at anchor most of the time and this app has been giving me peace of mind for about the last 4 years or so. It keeps improving and the features generally work well for us. The only bit missing is a sharing feature so I can leave a device on board and share the monitoring with my phone from shore. Then, it’d feel complete. Dark mode is appreciated tho the track and circle could contrast a bit better especially under low brightness. 

I really appreciate the anchorages tab as it gives an overall view if others have been in an area before as well as seeing ahead of a passage some popular or possible spots for anchoring. Really great when you go to unfamiliar places. It’s really one of my top favorite features. 

I use this app in tandem with another where I can remotely monitor from shore. I like the backup but this one is still the first I check and set.

Ten day sail from Pensacola, Fl to Mexico Beach/Port St Joe and back. Experienced many rough storms and anchor drug twice, Anchor Alarm alerted us with a plenty loud signal, not too loud. Easy to use, 35 ft Oday with about a 60 ft anchor line. (10 ft depth below keal) Set Alarm distance at 80 ft, GPS accuracy at 30 ft, draw trace - on (this draws where the boat moves as wind changes or anchor drags), Show Accuracy circle-on, anchor alarm as “doorbell”, Sounds to low volume warning -on…. SLEPT PEACEFULLY, though I am old and as I woke during the night a couple times and visually checked our position for added peace of mind and “all was well.”

Missing late set which allowed better way to locate anchor distance from boat.

Current setting sets position at current location. This may be at helm at stern of boat assume 50’ scope 10’ water and boat length 38’

I have spun around anchor 180 degrees and am now 150’ from where set. Anchor location is only about 1/2 or ~78’ can’t just leave alarm distance at 165’ as I continue to swing with wind change.
