And no it is not impossible to beat without buying crystals.... It is about upgrading the units you do have and using them strategically. Beat the whole campaign with the blow gunner upgraded to level  28 and the weakest sword guy to level 15... Easy day ;)

DO NOT get this app if u want the other characters! The app can't connect to your wifi and says u need to connect to it. You don't the game isn't able to connect itself to the wifi it is basically just there for show. Really frustrating.
