## Anona Security Reviews in United States

### *---- "COMING FROM A REAL PERSON NOT AI."
Since I updated it logs me out EVERYTIME I leave the app and glitches when I try to get back in its bs. Don’t waste your $200 on the cameras that are connected to the app.
-- Cheerleader UA, 2026-09-25

### **--- "Videos Don’t Upload"
I really want to like this. The device itself is so nice. However, the app is very buggy and about half the time the videos don’t upload even though I paid for the annual cloud subscription. The device is also fully updated as well. Not sure, but it makes me worry that if I truly needed footage of something, that it “wouldn’t upload”.

### ***** "Amazing"
This is such a great little camera for the price! I got it off Amazon for around $30 and honestly, I’m so impressed with it. The app is super easy to use, has tons of options, and I haven’t had any issues with it so far!

I originally got this camera to keep an eye on my kitten because she has to stay separated for a while due to ear mites and being too young for treatment. It has given me so much peace of mind being able to check on her throughout the day while I’m at work. I’ll open the app and catch her sleeping right next to the camera, playing, or having one of her crazy zoomies.

I also LOVE that you can talk through the camera! She actually seems to recognize my voice, and it’s so cute being able to talk to her when I’m away. You can adjust the volume and settings to your liking, and there’s even a privacy mode, which I really appreciate.

I saw a previous review saying that the voice couldn’t be turned off, but that’s not true! You absolutely can turn it off and adjust everything however you want. There are a lot more settings and features than I expected for such an inexpensive camera. You do need a SD card if you want to look back at previous videos.

The night vision is also AMAZING! The picture is surprisingly clear in the dark. Just make sure there isn’t anything directly in front of the camera because it can focus on that object instead and make the rest of the picture look blurry.

For around $30, I really don’t think you can beat this camera. It’s perfect for keeping an eye on pets, kids, or just having some extra peace of mind while you’re away. I’ve been so happy with it and would definitely recommend it!

### *---- "Update pop up glitch"
I’ve updated to the latest version and it still pops up that I need to update.
Also, if I’m listening to Apple Music on my phone and then go into the app, it automatically stops my music. Lastly, I wish that I can see all the cameras at once instead of having to click each one every time. When my elderly mom walks from the kitchen to her bedroom I have to constantly switch camera views. Please make the app more efficient and fix the issues
-- Aneliii R, 2026-08-27

### ***-- "Video Loading Issues"
The camera works great and records good quality as needed. Its the playback that is a problem. App is updated, Camera has been unplugged, reset, and internet connection is basically 100%. Wont load recordings.

### ****- "Pretty great app and hardware!"
Anona must have started a new app or something because there were many more negative reviews before this one. That being said, I bought the smart lock maybe a year ago and was very disappointed as I could not get it to connect to the app and returned it. I saw that they consistently updated their app and decided to give it another shot. I now have four of these in my house, and they are amazing! They seem very high end, especially for what you pay. I highly recommend these.

I did some research and it looks like Anona is part of the Xiaomi umbrella, if that matters to you. They are as reputable imo.

I am just a normal parent trying to keep my house safe. Not paid, not sponsored.

### *---- "Poor control of video recording to easily move forward or backward without having to struggle"
I’ve been trying to find a way for being able to see the recording and it’s sad that there’s no option to easily move forward or backwards the recording with different speeds not just till 2X only
-- Gasssaasosa, 2026-08-11

### *---- "Glitchy app, inconsistent camera"
Camera continually refuses to record events. We’ve tried everything: rebooted, reset WiFi, ensured SD card is working. Returning to Amazon.
-- Kitty4291, 2026-07-25

### *---- "Worst cameras I’ve ever had"
It’s constantly always loading for transmission line very unsafe if anything were to happen you’d be to late to see anything !
-- prxttibxi, 2026-06-28

### *---- "Can’t export videos"
I should be able to export all clips to my computer. If the app can’t do that for faster playback, it’s useless to me. I view 24/7 footage and need to go through it quicker than 2x. App is glitchy too. Playback struggles
