I paid a lot of money for a device that still works perfectly.
Anova stated that they will stop supporting it soon and that the app will no longer connect to it. Why? The Bluetooth still works, the wifi still works. You want to add new options? Release a legacy app for us to use. That is how a company that respects you should act.
They gave a 50% discount for a new device.
Why? My old one still works and I don't see a reason to buy a new one. Especially from a company that doesn't respect it's customers.

Love this app! So useful and well designed. Many useful tips, tons and great recipes. And one of the great features is that a recipe you like you can pair your Anova with a Bluetooth and set the time according to the recipe and it let's you know when it's ready and very important if for se reason your Sous Vide Anova has stopped working it let's you know and you can fix the problem and your food isn't ruined (making a beef brisket for 50 hours is a long time and it is good to keep track of your meat) highly recommend this

Tech support not able to provide solution, instead wanting to change wifi networks(ofc I have 10 wifi at home lol!), change my phone..

After 15 years of app development such “support” doesn’t seem professional at all

Have to use website thru browser and input manually on sous vide, which was not the point :/

Basic recipes are a great staring point for many other excursions. 
Only slight down side is that community recipes are not wide and rich enough.

Hi, the machine cannot go without the app so the app needs to be even easier to use, let’s say for example: add videos of walkthroughs on how to make each recipe, add information about the amount of food i can make in the same pot at the same time, is it possible to cook with no vacuum just the ziplock bag (while the air stays inside) and many more questions i came up with while i tried cooking for the first time.
