Excellent product

Useless - never connects correctly

I am a 1st gen anova user. Does not connect anymore. Finds it, connects, then disconnects...

Great except connectivity

I’ve been using Anova for a few years and it’s great, but it only works most of the time. The first cook is always perfect but if after that it’s finished I set a different temperature + time for a next batch the app doesn’t see the circulator and I have to turn everything off and on again. I’ve had the same problem with 2 different circulators, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi versions.

Connection issue

If the precision cooker, WiFi - Bluetooth, lost the connection with the app, but still has the connection with the WiFi, it is impossible to reconnect using WiFi. Reset as mentioned, holding the WiFi icon, does not work. And reconnecting page in the app is a completely empty, white, page. I am not very happy with that!

Buggy, loses connection frequently

When it works good, but so often it loses the connection to the iPhone, requiring restarts etc during time-critical cooking that can ruin a dish. A simple Bluetooth connection shouldn’t drop as easily.

Notifications not working

The app would be great if notifications would work, is a major pain and the issue had been there for a looooong time now. It makes the app quite useless.

Fine app

It’s a fine app but there’s room for improvement. In nu case would it be fine if the is available in the Dutch language, and a delayed timer so that you can prepare everything in advance and the stick switches itself on when the timer has expired.
