Can’t connect to the app
Every time I put the code it gets stuck in connecting for minutes and never connects, and even after I tried all the stuff they say in FAQ still nothing. The app serves no porpuse.

Even though the app is good. We’re still missing notifications for hitting the temperature and when ready.

If I had to make a suggestion (yes, I know, taking food nerdyness one step further), is having a record/report of temperate variation during cooking process.

I like it but...
... the recipes contributions are very american centred, there is a lack of cultural gastronomy diversity. Otherwise, the gadget works very well and it is cool to leave it working in the morning and arrive to lunch abd have the food almost ready to eat!
Measurements
Although it has the option between Celsius and Fahrenheit, all other instructions mention ounces and inches with no alternative. Makes the app pretty unusable to me. Metric system should be used.
Forced subscription issues
Anova introduced a subscription service after I purchased my sous vide. They grandfathered me in to continue to use their app, but now I need to re-login every time I want to cook something. Their product is fine, but trying to get people to pay a subscription to get basic app features on something they already own is pretty obnoxious. Recommend buying something that gives you this functionality (setting the temperature remotely and checking on its status) for free.
Scummy
Scummy company disables advertised functionality of device to strong arm you into buying a new one. If you’re considering buying, this will not happen only once. Anova will cripple your device just like they have others, mine included. Stay far away.
