🤔 The Anova Culinary app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Let me start with the good - the app works. I can monitor my cooks, I can turn on and off remotely, I can change temperature and time. However... Anova promised years (!!!) ago to add some essential added functionality- I have got more than one cooker - and would love to use a multiple cooker feature - it’s missing. Also - multiple temperature step cooking (for some application e.g. enzymatic manipulations of food, or quicker warm up and then lower long duration cook etc) this would be really great to have - also missing. The whole community stuff I don’t necessarily need. Recipes are great - but I rather like to have specific cooks - than while recipes: e.g. Joule app has visual guides, how you would like to have the food (hence the app offers time and temperature). I also like to change recipes of others with my own changes (some recipes are good but I have got improved time and temperature settings) - here I can look up a recipe - but need to do my own if I want to change it. I know, that the guys live their latest toy the precision cooker. But it would be amazing if the App would just become more useful for power user!
App very buggy and unstable
Keeps crashing, needs to be rebooted every time.
Provide optional weighing versions
I love your machine. But please in the next update allow us to choose between pounds and grams / kg. The rest of the world works in metric. Not imperial.

I used to be able to adjust temperature and time on the app once it started which is not possible anymore.

Sous-vide at its finest. Easy, inexpensive and professional results. From easy dishes like hard boiled eggs to more complex creations, the Anova wand is perfect and the app removes the guess work. Love it!

App works wonderfully with the Anova Precision! Expect full control with your cooker as long as you’re connected with either WiFi or cellular data. Very pleased I can edit the temperature and time when I’m away from the house while walking the husky or in a store several miles away. Also appreciate the app’s ease of use and timely updates.

The Anova is an exceptional cooking tool. This method of cooking has greatly enhanced my cooking skills. I highly recommend this product.
Terrible App
Always disconnects, always has communication issues.Takes forever to reconnect. Has trouble syncing devices. Has issues logging back in. - Anova, if you’re going to have devices with mobiles apps, make sure your development team is regularly testing and fixing bugs. These issues have been persisting for over 2 years now.
