## Antler Insanity Description
The Antler Insanity (AI) App is an easy to use iPhone program for the serious outdoorsman. How many times have you needed to know the wind speed and direction at your favorite location, save and store your locations for later viewing on a map, mark and map property boundaries and game trails, sunrise/set times, or walk to or your favorite spots in the predawn hours before the sun rises and you can see? This app makes all that possible, right in the palm of your hand. Get your first month free, followed by only $0.99/m!

Features:
- The ability to obtain current wind speed, direction, and weather at your GPS location. This becomes extremely important when you are deciding whether to hunt there or not. If the wind is not right, then your game will know you are there before you even spot them.

 - You can store the GPS location of your favorite stand in a database for later mapping and weather information determination. This is extremely helpful because you can retrieve the location later and check its wind data to determine if the spot’s conducive to success prior to going there.

- Mark property boundaries and get acreage and save it, mark game trails and save them.

- Easy access to guides! Need a quick refresher on how to field score or age a buck? The app will provide you guides on the best hunt information.

- The app computes sunrise and sunset times for your current GPS location. The calculations are actually performed internally without the use of charts. Data used in these formulas are your GPS location, calendar data, UTC time and the iPhone's current time zone (determined via cellular connection).

- Find the best times to hunt! The app will calculate Solunar times to help you hunt at the best time in your area.

- A revamped buck scoring walk through. Go through a step-by-step guide on how to score your trophy buck and generate a scoresheet to share with your friends and family.

- Attract your pray! Connect your Bluetooth speaker to your phone, and access the Game Calls section of the app to play different game calls to attract your pray.

Comments:
- The iPhone Location Services must be turned on for the GPS location features to be used.

- The GPS locator is best used when the user is outside so a more accurate determination of location can be found.

- The sunrise and set times are computed internally in the app using your GPS location, calendar information, and time zone location as input into actual mathematical equations. Any differences between the AI computed times, as compared to published charts, could be due to round-off differences in the number of seconds.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

## Antler Insanity Reviews in United States

### **--- "Slowwwwwww"
When trying to use this year, I would get the “subscribe “ screen for several minutes every time I would open the app. Also, I could be sitting in my stand and the app would show I was several yards away from the saved location. A real PITA when looking for a specific tree in the dark!
-- Tp4blues, 2025-11-26

### *---- "Would not recommend"
Would not recommend if you plan on keeping you locations for a long time
The app never loads and freezes
You pay for it and app won’t even load any longer not a good app for something they are making you pay for
-- Games a fraud 1, 2025-11-18

### *---- "Marked spots"
I just was in this app two days ago. I went to open it today and it’s a completely different look. I cannot find any of my marked Stand locations which I had over 30 of. how do I get everything I’ve saved over the years???
-- hdinrut, 2024-11-10

### *---- "What wrong with app"
When I try to open a location I have entered in folder it takes me back to iPhone main screen menu I’m basically paying for a service that doesn’t work anymore and I have many locations saved in this app I would appreciate if someone can tell me what is wrong Thanks

### **--- "Antler Insanity App"
Mainly used for scoring and weather. Had few problems with scoring last year however attempts to email score sheets are not recvg readable on gmail. Also unable to reopen the score files.
-- BrknBow, 2023-12-24

### *---- "What a joke"
Did the upgrade and lost all stand locations and now every time I open app it says upgrade or restore purchase And I click both and nothing happens.
-- DReed1234, 2023-10-04

### ***** "Best App ever"
Love the new features
-- kacbrc, 2023-04-11

### ***** "Changes"
I have had this app for 8 years. I wasn’t happy when it changed owners and lost my stand locations but once I talked to them I understand this app is not stored on the cloud. That’s why the price is cheaper that the others which is important to me personally. I do love the new features they added. Especially the scoring app!! I also use the range finder to set up targets at long distances and love that!

I just got a new phone and everything moved over from old phone perfectly.
-- tmcalamo890, 2023-04-11

### *---- "Years of data lost."
Used this app for years and loved it. I had tons of data saved that I access multiple times per week. However, every decision and change made by the new “developer” (really destroyer) has been a disaster. This app is garbage now.
-- prine music is garbage, 2023-02-11

### *---- "Terrible"
Absolutely ruined the best hunting app in the App Store. Now charging a greedy “subscription” to loyal users. Look elsewhere
