While we believe that many different Mac users will enjoy using Anyfile, our tool is an especially amazing helper for developers. Create and edit your .PHP, .HTML, .h, .m or other plain text files quickly with a fast and easy to use app. We know there are other great code editors on the market, but when it comes to speed and simplicity, Anyfile takes the cake!

Anyfile features the brand new Auto Save technology Apple introduced with Mac OS X Lion. Moreover, Apple's advanced security standards are integrated: Anyfile is fully sandboxed!

How can a text editor open all kinds of files? When opening a file, Anyfile checks whether said file is a plain text file (e.g. .TXT) or another type of file (e.g. .JPG). If plain text is detected, Anyfile will display that text. Otherwise Anyfile will display the bytes of the file. Take a look at the second screenshot to see how Anyfile deals confidently with opening a binary image file!
