## AOTEAURORA Description
AOTEAURORA is a New Zealand-first aurora forecast designed to help you decide when and where to look for the aurora. Search for a city or use your device location for guidance tailored to local darkness, cloud and geomagnetic conditions. The forecasting engine works worldwide, including northern and southern hemisphere aurora regions.

Features:
• Clear tonight guidance with hourly conditions
• Worldwide city search and nearby viewing spots
• Interactive globe with both auroral ovals and day/night shading
• Live solar imagery and NOAA space-weather data
• Colour-coded Kp, solar-wind, density and cloud trends
• Local cloud guidance from MET Norway
• Darkness start and end times
• Moon phase and monthly calendar
• Google Maps directions to selected viewing spots
• English, Hebrew, Spanish, German, Chinese, French, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish

AOTEAURORA combines public data from NOAA SWPC, GeoNet and MET Norway. Forecasts are guidance only. Aurora activity and weather can change quickly. Always choose a safe viewing location and follow local conditions.
