## APOD Description
Practical support for Defence, first responders, and eligible families.
APOD provides practical everyday support for Australia’s Defence community, first responders and the families and partners who support them.
Built for serving and former Defence members, reservists, veterans, eligible Defence family members, eligible first responders and eligible partners/spouses of first responders, APOD brings trusted savings, opportunities and community connection together in one secure, verified app.
Eligible members can join APOD for free, with the option to become a Mission Supporter for broader access to savings and benefits.
Members can access savings on everyday essentials like fuel, groceries, travel, technology, entertainment and more from trusted Australian partners.
But APOD is more than a discount app.
It is a community support platform designed to recognise service, strengthen connection, and deliver practical value every day.
With the APOD app, eligible members can:
Access everyday savings from trusted Australian partners
Explore employment and volunteering opportunities
Discover veteran and first responder owned businesses
Stay connected with community initiatives and support
Securely verify eligibility
Access benefits built for Australia’s Defence and first responder community
APOD exists to support those who serve, have served, respond on the frontline, and the families and partners who stand beside them.

## APOD Reviews in Australia

### ***** "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Exceptional Savings and Support for Defence Families!"
The APOD platform has been an absolute game-changer for our family. The range of discounts and offers available is incredible, from everyday essentials like fuel (our personal favourite!) to larger purchases that save us hundreds of dollars. The app is user-friendly, and the variety of businesses supporting defence families is impressive.

Beyond the savings, it’s heartwarming to see a program so dedicated to recognising and supporting those connected to the Defence community. Thank you, APOD, for providing such a valuable service, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

### ***** "Good savings and easy to use"
Love what you guys do. Have saved myself a couple of hundred $ this year alone. App is simple to use, and appreciate that it is supporting defence families. Keep up the great work!
-- ReviewfromAU, 2024-11-27

### *---- "pay to apply"
making defence members pay for defence discounts it’s scummy
-- Hfhtc huffs, 2024-11-25

### *---- "Subscription based now"
Used to be free for all defence members and their families. Now is a subscription based service, if you spend a lot at the stores they offer you may make your money back, however issue is you can not see how much of a discount is on offer until you subscribe. Better price savings could likely be found just by speaking to the sales person and seeing if they offer a defence discount
-- Hoffdawg, 2024-10-23

### *---- "Now a paid app?"
Didn’t this app used to be free for current serving and veterans?
-- Jjm24083, 2024-10-18

### ***** "Could this app GET any better"
APOD is an amazing app everything works as it should and whenever a new update is released there is alway a couple of new features making this app incredibly easy to navigate, and the deals and offers are amazing, I think this has to be my favourite app at the moment. My opinion is that all veterans and current serving ADF members should definitely download APOD. Thanks APOD for all the amazing deals. Keep up the astonishing work.
-- colcagate, 2024-10-11

### *---- "Broken app"
App is broken. Stuck on multiple screens (updating personal information and favourite categories)
Cannot get past either of these as the app freezes or the buttons are not working.
Have reinstalled multiple times and tried wiping my profile.
Please fix this as it is completely unusable for me.
-- Scott Heldorf, 2024-10-04

### *---- "No longer works"
The app no longer works. It opens, and allows you to enter your pin, but then the home screen is non-responsive.
-- Rego BMWGS, 2024-10-04

### *---- "APOD WAS for veteran"
Now they got the veterans they are charging. A common CN and American strategy, now they will be spending the next years trying to figure out how they can profit
-- Adriannqld, 2024-10-02

### ***** "APOD"
