Things have changed…
Update: This used to be such a lovely game, but I feel like lately things have taken a turn for the worst… so many items cost way too much in game currency. Unlocking new cats for 3,000 coins is fair, but hundreds of these super rare golden cloth pieces (which act as the “rare” currency in this game) for simple cosmetics is frustrating. But what really bothers me is how much the marketing in this game has increased. It used to be that you would only have to watch an add if you wanted something in return, like extra currency or an extra life, but now adds play every time you die, in between online matches and even after losing a boss battle. It’s becoming too much to bear. What once was a creative game that rewarded its players for watching adds and playing their game has now become a victim of the advertisement-storm virus that infects so many terrible cash grabs to this day. Cat Jump is a wonderful game. It has creative designs, appealing pixel art, and a lot of love and passion put into it. If you are looking to download the game I would recommend it. But my message to the developers is this: please lower the amount of advertisements you have in this game! I will update my review to five stars again when this is resolved. (Below is my original review. Ironic, isn’t it? This was written a couple years ago, I believe.) This game doesn’t have to many adds, which is so rare to find! Very often games will just cram their games with adds to the point where it is unplayable, but not here! It is so fun and there are so many cats to collect. No matter what your taste is, whether it is cute, natural, dark, or something else, there is going to be hundreds of cats for you to choose from. With multiple playing styles and frequent updates I can’t recommend this game enough!

i’ve been playing this game for about 2 years now, and i still love it! the only thing i wish you guys could add is accounts so when people switch phones they don’t lose their data like i did. i had so many things that i loved and i had that phone for a super long time but then i got a new phone and i had to start from scratch. and before anybody says “well just play on your old phone for cat jump!” we had to give it away to my uncle in cuba which is a communist country because he didn’t have a phone to talk to my father. other than that i love this game and it’s definitely worth it.
Good main game!
The main game is very fun and well paced! The one gripe I have is that some of the later bosses (#6 especially!) seem very luck based. There is no time to react between the ‘cue’ and the actual attack, and the boundaries force you to jump, so often you have to jump and hope it doesn’t attack where you are while you are unable to dodge in midair (double or triple jumping to dodge in such a cramped space either means you get knocked on the boundaries and die or jump into the move and die harder.) If there was just more time between the cue and the attack that would be nice, I think. Right now I’ve fought #6 crazy for three days and I’ve learned all the cues, but there’s no way to actually use this knowledge because by the time I see the cue I am either out of the way or dead.

My daughter absolutely loves this game she won’t stop playing me on my phone and the chance I get I can just watch YouTube every single time she is by me she asked to play this game I will recommend this game to children if they like cats also it’s entertaining for my daughter Cuz she loved using her hands
