Description
灵棋占法源于汉代，为张良、东方朔，乃至刘伯温的掌中利器，以手中十二枚棋子，便可决千里之事。后世以其法神妙，将其收于《正统道藏》。
但灵棋又并非专属于高人隐士，至于今日，现代人也可将此作为自己的决策辅助工具。
因为将灵棋占法实现数字化之后，已非常容易上手，甚至无须占卜基础。首先起课方式简单便捷，卦象卦辞直白易懂，心诚必应，自占决疑，不必求于他人，自己便能对事情的吉凶了然，从而择善而行。
另外，若是对《周易》有所向往的朋友，也大可由灵棋入手，因《易》本卜筮之书，立三才以通八卦，而灵棋所立象辞，皆本于《易》。因此，自观玩《灵棋经》之象辞，由简入繁，自下升高，无异于《易》学入门之极好阶梯。但凡因事而占，因占而断，比之诵读经文，当更有一番天地。
最后，须说明使用摇动方式起课，并非只是为了模拟摇动棋子的起课过程，还有着更为深层次的考量。简言之，即避免使用计算机的「伪随机数」系统，而使用与物理世界相关联的加速器来取数，以生成更为灵动准确的占验效果。所谓「心诚必应」，即指此而言。
