Step 1: Goal setting
If the goal is too big, break it down.
Step 2: only focus for 25 minutes
* Only focus on one thing
* Avoid distraction; make efforts to keep the Tomato running (ex. if someone hits you up, tell him/her getting back to you shortly!)
* Better to watch the timer counting
Step 3: Rest for 5 minutes
* Not suitable for mental consuming tasks
* Light activities that are good for your mind and body
* Pause your work momentarily can help you view things from another perspective and avoid couldn't see the forests for the trees.
Step 4: Repeat 4 times, then take a more extended rest for 15 to 30 minutes
Repeat the previous two steps for 4 times, and take a 15 to 30 minutes long rest

Beautiful Steampunk Pomodoro
Amazing simplicity with interactive sound effects my only request is additional times’ up sound effect, I don’t understand why there’s only 2 options and there are many background ambient options.

I love the aesthetics, with how simple to use the app is
I have ADHD and the pomodoro technique is something I’m trying out. It’s been really helpful! But I’ve been looking for an app that isn’t too boring to look at—and I found this! It’s so pretty and it helps me to stay focused! That being said, I wished this app had an automatic feature where it would automatically make actual alarm sounds when the period is done (not just the really quick sounds available)—AND WOULD ALSO automatically switch to the next period. Work watch, and then automatically would switch to break time watch. Then automatic switch to work watch again. Or perhaps I’m mistaken and I haven’t found that feature in the app yet? Either way—amazing app! X

Produces surround, crisp sounds for background sounds and notifications. Design has a stunning vintage style, contributing to a beautiful user-experience. It boosts your productivity and lets you focus on your work/study efficiently. The only thing that I do not like is how it eats up your battery life. Other than that, I give this app 5 stars. ✨

Best Pomodoro out there!
I’ve tried a ton of Pomodoros but this one takes the cake. It’s the perfect balance of not being too simple and too crowded with bs. I love the humor that surrounds this app. The little war cry when you start the timer and the *cough* Ahum! *cough* when it ends. The art style is gorgeous. A good mix between old school and modern. More power to the developer/s of this app. Absolutely delightful.

Amazing app! Been using this to boost my productivity and study efficiently! I just hope we can get a web app version as well so that I can just use my laptop/pc to use focus tomato. But overall, great app!
Split Screen function
I absolutely adore the vintage look and sound effects! One thing is missing and keeping me from upgrading, it’s the split screen function so I can take a look at the visuals while doing my work in the same device. That would be nice. I get easily distracted and I want this serious tomato to be looking at me during those hours haha
