I’ve searched high and low and used many note taking apps and this one is hands down the best app EVER! Simple GUI and works really well with Apple Pencil and exporting to pdf. I love all the different color choices for writing along with customizing notebook pages, and it’s free! This app is a MUST DOWNLOAD! 👍👍

I love this app it’s amazing! I can’t get enough of it! I’m way more motivated to take notes and with the AI search too ugh it’s just so good. I also love how aesthetic it is with the different color schemes and the fonts. OMG! The fonts is what got me. Like when I used the fonts I feel in love! I was trying to look for notes taking app and ngl, I was notability, and I’ve been using it for years since high school, recently when i was at the military i was using notability for notes taking, however it started costing money its fine till i got back to college and broke again, so i decided to use a different app after like 3 apps i found this one, and 5 min of trying things out this is by far the best free app

[update] The more I use this, the more impressed I get by the feature set. With Apple Pencil Pro, being able to squeeze to bring up the palette is a productivity booster!!! If I can customize double tap, that would be super! I want to use that to undo. On the super micro detail, I noticed that the response speed is not quite as fast as Notabilty. I can write super fast on that app but on this app, there is a nanosecond delay that makes me feel awkward when I write fast. I hope that will improve. But that is small detail compared to the great package this app provides as a whole. One minor bug I found is that when you switch between notebooks w/ different templates, template for new page gets mixed up. For example, when I work on a grid notebook and switch to ruled notebook, new page of the ruled notebook becomes grid. I hope this is a quick fix. Other than that, the app is fantastic. I look forward to the app update.

[initial review] I have tried all popular note taking apps out there over the years, but every one of them had something missing. I have given up trying to find my perfect app a few years ago, but now, I just bumped into this. I didn’t expect much for a free app, but as I started sketching, I quickly realized that this is what I have been looking for! What sets this apart is the LAYERS!!! That is a game charger. Another big one is high resolution exported images. They are double the resolution of all other apps. That also had been a serious issue for me with other apps. And the interface design and feature set are just perfect. I have used this only for about an hour but I am completely loving this. This is already improving my sketching productivity drastically. I will update my review after I used this longer.

I struggled to find good apps for note taking that had a lot to offer compared to the assigned notes app that comes with a device. However, every note app I came across would look amazing, but then you would have to pay to get good features. This app has everything that the other apps I found before has, but for free! It has good writing tools, stickers, amazing features, etc. This app has a lot to offer and I'm here for it. 10/10.
