Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear Lite)

I was setting it up and I thought the watch was not doing something right but turns out it was nothing it was asking me for updates. The updates of the watch is better then other watches

So far -apart from initial setups - the app is appearing to be good and working well

Not bad, good value. Worst aspect seems to be it’s inability to accurately record sleep. Mine always removes the first sleep…from lights out to waking up 1-2 hours later…sometimes it thinks it’s a nap! So, it always says I go to sleep too late and says I average 01:00 am as my sleep time!

The information the watch gives is really impressive given the price point. Far better than my previous branded smart watch. Top marks from me.

My new Xiaomi Smart Band 9 arrived yesterday. I had tried to purchase directly from the Xaomi website but in order to check out I had to create an account which proved to be impossible. So I ordered from Amazon instead at a higher price. Before using or connecting the watch to your phone via this app you have to - guess what? - create an account. This is impossible from my UK phone or even with my Gmail account. The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 has had good reviews in British publications but what a waste of time if the device isn't checked out properly beforehand. I have emailed Xioami support. Still waiting for a reply but I suspect that this will be going back to Amazon. UPDATE: As I suspected the support emails gave me instructions (which I had already carried out) to follow to create an account. I followed them several times but no verification code materialised. They requested a screen video of me doing it (in case I am a complete idiot) which I sent them. I got a further email telling me to make sure my email address was correct and that I had a proper connection etc, etc.. Nothing works and the band will not connect without an account (although my phone shows that there is a Bluetooth connection). This is going back to Amazon before the end of the week. UPDATE 2: the final email arrived in thd nick of time. Suggested I use a computer instead of a phone. Successfully managed to get a verification code and set up an account. They need to pay translators with more expertise. The English instructions were really difficult to understand. I'll update again when I've had a chance to use the damned thing. UPDATE 3: having had a chance to use the smartband 9 I'm quite pleased with it. It's not going to set the world on fire but it's good enough if you don't need pin-point accuracy. DEVELOPER SUGGESTION: please enable the facility to switch between metric and imperial units - lbs/kgs and miles/kms. Also please add Nordic Walking to the list of activities (which is pretty impressive already)

Love my watch, it has encouraged me to do more exercise

Simple to use and was great with mi band 8/9 and now mi band 9 pro.

Doesn’t seem to want to have the QR code read by my iPhone. If it isn’t good with iOS, it should say so before I bought one. The watch is so bright, the camera can’t read the QR code properly. Utterly ineffective and I’ve wasted 2 hours searching online. This is getting returned and a refund processed.
