Loved MapleStory but the direction Nexon is taking the franchise especially with this pocket grabbing shred of nostalgia is sad and pathetic. Do not support these big corp developers that repeatedly print the same formula just on different paper whilst reaching for your pocket in absurd ways (there’s like 4 “passes” and 3 currencies you can pay for). ??Justified??

Our server used to have a decent atmosphere that’s friendly and fun, but then the whole behind the screen adjust on RNG and new PQs pretty much separated most of people all the way. And none of the drop rate seems to be actually working as if it was indicated. Most of the time it’s pray and hope for the best and also get stuck for a chapter for at least 1-2 weeks. 

It’s a shame really. This IP got so many people who came back just when waiting for the classic coming back and willing to spend money, but can’t even make it an enjoyable gâcha game for these people and encourage long term community development. Instead Nexon using it as a fast money grab and casino that’s pretty much a nobody can win situation for both f2p and p2w gamers. 

Waiting for refund process announcement for now. Hopefully it’s not a whole month wait. I don’t think I want to spend any more time on this.

My review got deleted...so as of end of january, they pulled out a 2gb update and their game server is STILL super disfunctional and you can barely play 30 seconds or less before it lags/disconnects with "issue connecting to server" showing up. this is 100% not a device issue but an issue on their side that they dont seem like they care about, it's clear it's more important to create more item to pay with real money than create a working game.

This is an idle game that requires money to play… play it for free I dare you…. You’ll wanna rip your hair out as you cannot manually do any real farming in the game it literally hinders your exp if you wanna farm like a normal maple player :/ gear is insanely hard to attain exp is possible to earn even with a burning event after 225 it’s just washed and it says it will take you to 250 lol not without money because I haven’t been sleeping properly and I’m struggling to level up trying any and every method to scrap up exp and still won’t see 250 during this event is majorly disappointing…. It’s an idle game don’t be expecting to play it maybe a total of an hour a day is actually played the rest can be idled lol……. No advantages to playing manually they penalize you for it :/ idk guys this isn’t nice tbh
