Rav-Kav turns out cheaper? Top-up your Rav-Kav with your iPhone. Tap the Rav-Kav card near the camera area on your device (back or front), select the contract you want, pay using all major credit and debit cards. Tap again to complete the topup and you're ready for your next journey!
You can choose between Credit value which is acceptable by all public transit operators in Israel, or a Daily, Weekly and Monthly passes according to the area of your travel.
Rav-Pass is an official public transportation payment app licensed by the Ministry of transportation in Israel.
Rav Kav top up is available on iPhone 7 and above with iOS13+

Loved It

I used this app all over Tel Aviv and loved it. In particular the guidance feature was great. It’s also great with directions on real time for walking.

App not working

I was not able to get past first step of SMS Verification I never received the confirmation SMS

Didn’t work

Couldn’t recieve verification code, couldn’t link my foreign card from a major bank. Responsive customer service but unfortunately useless app. They should consider working with Apple Pay and allowing email verification.

Won’t add credit card

Other reviewers have mentioned this - it would not add my credit card (US credit card, and when I try to add it’s just an endless loading wheel of death) so I am in Israel on vacation and can’t get anywhere because the nearest Rav Kav station is too far away and they only accept payment via Rav Kav card or this stupid app that doesn’t work!!! Nightmare. They have the ability to accept contactless credit card payments ON THE BUS why can’t you just do that!? That’s how it is in other countries and far superior. I should not be stuck without public transportation right now.

Can’t add credit card, can’t use the app

Was unable to add any credit card. Either the loading page afterwards spins forever. Or with a different card tells me to check my internet connectivity. Multiple credit cards attempted, on multiple networks.

Requires location data sharing, slow

Doesn’t work unless you grant it with location data (no excuse can justify this). Slow to read the QR code.
