アイドル伝説 ～飛翔編～

新生アイドルグループ「DOT 8x8」は、今まさに飛翔の時をむかえている。

- 彼女たち 1 人 1 人は、ドット、つまり点でしかありません。
　でも、彼女たちが集まることで、 1 つの作品になる。
　私は、そう考えています。

こう語るのは、「DOT 8x8」が所属する
「EGG プロモーション」の代表 カミヤ リュウイチ氏だ。

- 「DOT 8x8」がどのような作品になるのか、実のところ、私にも見えていません。
　彼女たちもまた、自分が何色なのか、自分がどんな役割なのか、見えてはいないでしょう。
　彼女たちに色をつけていくのは、ファンの皆様です。
　ファンの皆様と一緒に「DOT 8x8」という作品を作り上げていければ、これ以上の幸せはありません。

筆者は、デビュー当初から「DOT 8x8」を追ってきたが、
確かにファンとの交流を非常に重要視しているアイドルグループである。
カミヤ氏自身もすべてのイベントに顔を出し、握手会ではなんと自身でファンの誘導をしていると言う。

- 握手会はかなりの頻度で行っています。
　「DOT 8x8」は、ファンの方々と一緒に作り出す作品なわけですから、ファンの皆様と接するのは当たり前ですよね。
　同時に彼女たちに、ファンの皆様に応援される喜びを与えてあげたいという気持ちもあります。
　応援されていることで自信をつけ、慢心せず感謝して、成長していってもらいたいと思っています。

カミヤ氏は目を細めて語る。
最後にファンに一言頂戴した。

- 「DOT 8x8」をいつも応援していただきありがとうございます。
　握手会は主にYOBUデパートで行っておりますので、ぜひ、足を運んでいただれば幸いです。
　「DOT 8x8」をよく知らないという皆様も、これを機に興味を持っていただけると嬉しいです。


「DOT 8x8」はまだ決して知名度が高いとは言えない。
だが、カミヤ氏の目は輝いていた。
それは、必ず国民的アイドルグループになることを信じて疑わない気持ちの表れなのだろう。
