I finally upgraded and come to find out the program does not process RAW. And it does not work at all. It won’t save- I’ve tried on my both my computers saying that there is “no space” when there are several GBs left. Yes, I tried several ways of trouble shooting and they did not take or work. It crashes and won’t upload all the pictures I select, I have to go back and compare lists to the pictures that have loaded for editing. To top it all off, customer service has not responded or tried to resolve the issue. Their resolution was “just use the online version” which doesn’t allow you to use any pro features even when signing in. I’ve requested a refund since I can’t use it at all but we’ll see how that goes, most of the email responses are just “we did get your email, we will respond soon” and they don’t, even with email follow up inquiries every few weeks. They probably just stole my money and I have a useless app until March 2026. Don’t buy this program it’s very buggy and they won’t and don’t know how to fix it. It is not complicated: it is great for simple tasks as well. Side note: By the way, the apps which never let you try them before signing up for at least a trial or buying a subscription right away ALWAYS end up to be a waste of money. In contradiction, the apps that have something REAL to offer have no problem with allowing limited free access which is why I ended up buying a subscription although I didn’t really need another editing tool. They let you use a lot of free features and in the end you just don’t want to let it go and with a modest price point, it is just an irresistible find. The effects are excellent, the text overlays are clean and crisp, the editing tools are intuitive and fast. It's simple but very powerful. The free version is somewhat feature limited, but even most of the premium doodads can be tried on one photo a day. I am far from a brilliant graphic artist, but I am able to produce professional, modern looking results with ease. One of these days I will spring for the pro version to get rid of the warnings and limitations. I’m beyond excited that they brought back the original app with what I would consider the best photo editing UI on the market. Applying a few basic edits to most photos will either black out the preview image or totally frees the app. Sometimes editing goes smoothly, but then the app will refuse to save your image. I’ll tap any of the save options and it just goes back to the main screen without saving the photo. And finally, larger images almost never work. Higher MP or RAW files just completely freak Polarr out. Such a shame.
