信義鄉農會創立於民國41年，前身為信義鄉物資供銷會，民國50年12月奉令改組正式更名為信義鄉農會，民國67年增辦信用業務；復於78年設立食品加工廠、91年成立酒莊、96年設置專屬Talugan驛站並落成啟用。
本會係以服務農民、照顧農友，並兼負協力推動執行政府重大農業及金融政策，達成富裕本鄉農民，活絡農村經濟為設立之宗旨。迄今數十年之努力，透過綿密產銷班組織輔導運作，使得本鄉各項產業均佔台灣農產品一席之地，例如青梅之輔導產銷加工、苦茶油的生產及利用、葡萄的推廣栽培、夏季蔬菜的穩定供應，進而推動精緻設施栽培，均為農村注入無限商機。
本會邇來秉持多元化服務、單一窗口設置、熱忱效率的服務態度之經營策略，服務農民及社會大眾，惟因應貿易自由化，外在環境快速變遷的趨勢，除了生產產銷的賡續推動外，也須另闢一條符合現代及未來的經營途徑，如擴大電子商務的經營層面，創新開發多元化系列產品，運用市場經濟活動創造產業價值鏈，進而打造「台灣第一、世界唯一」結合地方產業及在地文化Made In Taiwan(MIT)~梅子夢工廠為行銷國際，並以關懷及協助社會弱勢團體為使命，以兼顧企業成長及社會公益責任之雙重目標，造福農民之最終遠景。
