This is so much fun especially the Challenge Mode. Great work App developers. Even if you play different versions of Mahjong this is very user friendly and with different bots and modes makes it great fro beginners and experienced players : )
I am a western player and love this groovy 70s style Mahjong App. My favourite type of game is the “Classic” mode, “Freeplay” and “one wind” round for short easy playing. The Bots with different Personalities really make this App far more enjoyable compared to similar MJ Apps. Also, if you are playing against humans and you need to leave the game, then a bot takes over your hand. The game does the scoring at the end of each game. As a Western Player it would be helpful if the Developers to state in the instructions the “value” of each “coloured disc”. Highly Recommended

Finally, a real mahjong game and not that silly tile matching game! The style and look is great and it plays well single player as well as with friends online. The speech to text when playing online is a bit buggy and doesn’t always work/detect sound but overall the app is great. It’s good that you can choose between classic Hong Kong style scoring and the newer scoring styles. It plays an ad when you discard the winning tile which is a clever way to do it. The ads do not distract from play at all, though I still wish there were an option to buy the game outright so that single player offline was an option.

4/5. The good things are: The AI of this mahjong app is relatively better and smarter than other’s. Heaps of setting for the game control. Smooth animation. Some cons are: the missions of every game in the challenge mode are boring, why always the one opposite you have to lose in order to obtain a star, at least some rotation please on this. Also the game in the challenging mode will be much more interesting if each character has a special skill which can be used on the table. The Hk background setting is cool but get boring over time , why not make international background and maps. The maps are limited , what do you do after completing all these games in the challenge mode. Why not create more maps but with different winning strategies. Online game seems a bit soggy I am not sure if they a even real person or just AI. Anyway good work , best offline mahjong game found so far.
