Cannot register
To complete registration you need to know another WeChat user who can verify your registration with qr code. I am going on holiday to China and need wechat for digital payment. I dont know anyone with wechat. This means I cannot use this app. That’s crazy!!
Useless!!
This app asks you as verification to let an existing WeChat user to scan a QR code. I do not know anybody nearby!! How can I get in contact with a friend from overseas??

App requires some other wechat user to scan qr
The app is impossible to sign up to without another wechat user scanning you qr. this makes it completely useless.
Cannot Stay Logged In on Multiple Devices
On WhatsApp, you can add devices to the app so that you can stay logged in. E.g. when you're using WhatsApp on your Desktop PC, your work laptop and school laptop, then you don't have to log in again and again each time you swap devices. But on WeChat, if you switch from one of devices, you have to log in again. This also applies when you are using User Accounts on your PC. This is really annoying! I hope they will implement a feature where a user can stay logged into WeChat across all devices he/she owns.
Cant log in
Because i have used this app in the past and now want to use it again for my trip to China it doesnt let me log in.. the account has been inactive for too long and therefor is under “protection”.. by no means i can reactivate it. And i also had to verify that i am a human which made me paid verification cost and led to the same screen as before..

Fix adding new lines and send button position
For an app that specializes in sending text messages it seems to be awfully bad at giving me the usual tools to do so. The new line (return) button is gone, which is why some people send weird stuff with lots of spaces to “emulate” a new line, and instead they put the send button in the new line space, making it really easy to accidentally send a message that wasn’t finished yet. Of course WeChat wants to do everything their own way and Tencent probably believes they’re really clever, but not following device standards is only causing more issues. At least give me the option for you not to **** up my keyboard. Thanks.
