On the surface this is a great basic calculator but it also has all the bells and whistles if you need them. 

For my needs history was what I was after and the most important feature I was missing from the built in calculator and this supports it. For those that need it though it also has the scientific features, currency conversion and many more features nicely hidden away if you don’t need them. 

I also REALLY appreciate that to get rid of the ads it’s a 1 time payment rather than a monthly subscription like 99% of the calculator apps in the store use. I have a lot of subscriptions and so I don’t mind paying monthly for something I use regularly BUT this is a calculator not something that requires on going maintenance or support so those other companies charging monthly are just doing a cash grab in my opinion. This app is fairly priced and I’m happy to pay the 1 time fee to support the developer. 

One final note… the fact I even need to buy a calculator to get history is a joke. Apple’s calculator is just so basic it borders on useless. I know you can get more functions if you turn your phone into landscape mode but come on really Apple? 

Generally I hate when Apple steals a developers idea and basically kills their company but a calculator is basic and there should never be a need to buy one (unless you went some special features - history is NOT a special feature!).

Overall this is an easy app to recommend. If you need a calculator that’s actually functional (unlike Apple’s) buy this one - imo.
