Realtime informatie over luchtkwaliteit voor meer dan 180 landen.

• Bekijk informatie over de luchtkwaliteit van je dichtstbijzijnde meetstation.
• Data over pollen en voorspellingen voor de Verenigde Staten en Europa.
• Wisselen tussen luchtkwaliteitsnormen voor de VS, China, Nederland, Europa, GB en India.
• Alarmen voor vervuiling en pollen.
• Realtime luchtkwaliteitsindex zichtbaar op desktopicoon.

• Beschikbaar voor Apple Watch met Complications. Bekijk realtime de luchtkwaliteit om je pols.
• Met iMessage-extensie: deel informatie over de luchtkwaliteit direct in een gesprek.

• Verbind met je Philips Smart Air Purifier om in realtime de luchtkwaliteit binnenshuis te controleren en je luchtververser vanaf elke plek te besturen.
• Verbind met je eigen Laser Egg-luchtmonitor en zie hoe de luchtkwaliteit in je huis is.

Air Matters bevat advertenties. "Air Matters Premium" is een optioneel jaarlijks abonnement waarmee advertenties worden verwijderd en toekomstige ontwikkeling wordt ondersteund. De huidige prijs voor deze premiumdienst is $0,99 per jaar. Dit kan per land verschillen. Je kunt dit betalen met je iTunes-account. 24 uur voor het aflopen van de huidige abonnementsperiode wordt het bedrag voor verlenging afgeschreven. Automatisch verlengen kan op elk moment worden stopgezet in de instellingen van je iTunes-account na aankoop. Het huidige abonnement kan niet worden geannuleerd tijdens de looptijd van het actieve abonnement. Als je hebt betaald om advertenties te verwijderen in eerdere versie van "China Air Quality Index", kun je je eerdere aankoop herstellen om van één jaar gratis premiumservice te profiteren.

Ooit was dit een goede app. Maar sinds ze allerlei luchtreinigers ondersteunen heb ik de indruk dat er waarden die binnenshuis gemeten zijn, meenemen in hun lucht  kwaliteit index. In ieder geval kloppen de waarden niet. Ga liever voor de officiële app van de EU. De European Air Quality Index. 
Ik delete Air Matters.

Waarom moet ik elke keer opnieuw het apparaat koppelen met WiFi? Als de stroom er even af was, of mijn router gereset is moet ik in de app het apparaat eerst ontkoppelen en daarna weer alle stappen volgen om het aan WiFi gekoppeld te krijgen. Vervolgens weigert de app meerdere malen te verbinden met WiFi en het apparaat. Pfff prehistorische app. Duidelijk enkel als doel te kunnen zwaaien ‘dat men een app heeft’. Tevens; waarom moet het apparaat mijn locatie weten voordat het gekoppeld kan worden met WiFi? Ik wil gewoon het apparaat middels mijn telefoon in de app aan en uit kunnen zetten. Daar is geen locatie voor nodig, eens?!

De wifi connectie valt zeer geregeld weg. Apparaat geeft aan dat hij verbinding heeft. Kan het device ook zien op mijn router. Desondanks zegt app zeer geregeld dat device offline is.
