Description
说的是大宋朝仁宗年间，爱国名将呼延赞之子呼延丕显被奸臣庞文陷害，居家满门三百余口被杀，呼延丕显之子呼延守信因未在家中而免遭其害。庞贼欲赶尽杀绝，为躲避庞文搜捕，呼延守信逃往北国投亲避难。呼延守用在大王庄招亲，得子呼延庆。呼延庆上山学艺归来，三次大闹东京汴梁城，吓得庞文寝食不安心惊肉跳。庞文野心篡夺皇位，暗中与外国勾结，妄图与外国势力平分疆土稳坐江山。在朝内仗着女儿是皇妃的权势，上欺君王，下压群臣，作恶多端，搜刮民财。为除掉庞文一伙卖国害民的奸臣贼子，为报全家被害的血海深仇，呼家后代呼延庆、呼延平、呼延明等在包拯、寇准、杨家将等保国忠臣的支持下，与奸党展开了曲折、激烈、长期的斗争，最后终于取得胜利。结构紧凑新奇，人物栩栩如生，故事生动曲折，语言通俗流畅，是一部弘扬爱国主义和民族精神的深受群众欢迎的传统大书。
