The app is poor and the ticketing system is even worse!
We were so excited for our trip to USJ, especially Super Mario world! Though it looked amazing, the space was far too overcrowded- I felt like the timed entry was not adhered to, having paid a lot of money for express passes, I felt short changed! The staff were friendly enough, but the waiting times were too long and not enough seating so struggled with the queuing and standing everywhere! The best part was Harry Potter land and the rides there!
You need express pass to do anything if not then it’s not fun
Travelled to the other side of the world to see Nintendo world. Paid over £50 for ticket. And the app did not let me reserve another pass which you also need to enter. And then there were none available by the time we entered the park.

I don’t know how a technologically advanced place like japan and a massive company like universal have such a rubbish app. Tried for days to make payments and failed. Finally managed to book- screenshot the confirmation but tickets are nowhere to be found within the app now. It says to scan the QR code but I can’t see that as an option. Chat bot replies from FAQ team. “Where is my ticket” is obviously asked as the box pre populates to this question when searching. Yet there’s no answer to this question. Ridiculous!!!
I used this app to buy tickets for USJ. The tickets should have cost around £400 but for some reason I have been billed over £1000. I’ll be raising a dispute.
The app is suppose to be in 5 languages but I can’t find anywhere to change it to English. Completely unsuitable for tourists.
The apps shows Japanese only but it is available in UK Apps store. Is this the joke?😂 Poor UI
For anyone using the app and it shows in Japanese. You need to go into your iPhone language settings and add English US as a preferred language
