One of the worst apps I have ever encountered. I have never left a review for anything, but I was so moved to give this one star because I am profoundly offended and disappointed with what it offers. Let me say first of all that you should read the privacy policy before agreeing to it with this one. It’s a doozy. Clearly has no respect for your privacy and obviously intends to profit from selling your data. Many pass do this, but cmon? Have some shame? On top of that, the app itself is completely horrendous. First of all, I opened it and noticed a few buttons to try on various categories of hairstyles, and one that said “appearance detection”. Naturally I assumed, this being a hairstyling app, that it would take picture of my face, detect my appearance, and decide what hairstyle would look good. Or at least something like that. No, it instead appeared to be rating how... good? ...Attractive? My face was. It just said I had a rating of 52.3. What? Out of 100? I already knew I was mid ugly, I don’t need spyware reminding me. So feeling offended, I navigated to a different option to try on hairstyles. And it was so terrible. It just superimposes a png of various hairstyles over your selfie. Does nothing to make it blend in or look realistic, does nothing to hide your real hair. Completely useless functionality quite frankly. Also— there seemed to be as many features of “beautifying” your selfie in various ways (like softening your skin or narrowing your face, enlarging your eyes.) so altogether, it seemed the app’s function is, more than anything, to shame you into feeling bad about how you look. I guess maybe they think if you hate yourself, you’ll feel compelled to keep beautifying your selfies with their app, and they can keep selling your data to advertisers and tyrannical governments. So please don’t download this app. Call your grandmother. Go play a game of catch. Watch a movie. Live your life and leave this awful, vile, useless weapon of disrespect in the gutter where it belongs.
