This app is designed for all hard-working shift workers. You can add customized shifts easily. The major feature of this App is 'Easy to Use'. When editing your shifts, you can select a range of days (rather than one day) to set. Thus, you can set your schedule (roster, planner) in few seconds. Then, you can send your schedule (roster, planner) to your friends via email or other apps by clicking one button.

Alright, folks, buckle up, because I’m about to tell you the tale of how the Shift Calendar / Schedule app by Lin Chih-YU saved my sanity. If you’re like me—a master of chaotic schedules, a connoisseur of calendar catastrophes—then this app will become your new BFF faster than you can say “double shift.”

First off, let’s talk design. It’s slick, it’s smooth, it’s like the James Bond of scheduling apps. I’m talking ‘Daniel Craig in a tuxedo’ level of smooth. I swear, just looking at it makes me feel like my life is more together than it actually is. And trust me, I need all the help I can get. My schedule looks like a Jackson Pollock painting—except with less paint and more panic.

The interface is so user-friendly that even my dog could use it. And let’s be honest, sometimes I feel like he’d do a better job at managing my schedule. Setting up my shifts used to be like trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded. But with this app, it’s as easy as pie. (Which is a weird saying because have you ever tried to make a pie? Not easy. But I digress.)

I love how you can color-code shifts. It's like giving my schedule a personality makeover. Blue for early mornings when I resemble a zombie from a low-budget horror film. Green for mid-day shifts when I'm slightly more human. And red for night shifts because, well, bloodshot eyes. It’s a beautiful, technicolor dream… except the dream is me, not oversleeping and missing work. Again.

The notification system is a godsend. It’s like having a personal assistant who never gets tired or judges me for the amount of coffee I drink. It pings me just the right amount—enough to keep me on track but not so much that I feel like my phone has developed a clingy personality.

And can we talk about the widget? It’s like having a little window into my organized future every time I glance at my home screen. It makes me want to pat myself on the back every time I see it. “Look at you, managing your life like a pro,” it says. Or at least, that’s what I imagine it says if it could talk.

There was one tiny hiccup where I accidentally deleted a shift, but let’s be real, that’s probably more user error than the app’s fault. Besides, it was super easy to fix, and the app didn’t even laugh at me. (Thank you for that, by the way. My ego is fragile.)

Hello,

It is a very useful app and helps me everyday. However, I would suggest 1 thing : when you put the shift patten, it does not allow us to select a start date which means it changes pattern back date as well. People like me have shift patten change from time to time and then we lose the old shift record while trying to update the pattern.

I use this app for work to log vital info, reminders etc. Please can the Tech team update this app because there are numerous times I’ve put txt into a day to remind me of important appointments and information which when I’ve gone back in, after pressing done to log and store the information on that date, it has completely disappeared. What’s the point of having this feature if it’s doing this? Please rectify as soon as possible.

I run small gardening business and I find this is excellent for organising my regular clients month by month. Each client is allocated a specific colour and, with their initials (or emoji), I can immediately insert them (or other commitments like holidays) on the required days for short and long term commitments. Great to also help me when doing tax returns! Thank you for a simple but brilliant app that makes my life easier.

Needs ability to sync to iCloud!!!!!!!

I lost over a year and a half save in the calendar.  Where I had marked not only Szlif you, but various notes that I need very much at the moment and I do not have which to recover after having to restore the phone to the factory settings.  I did not think that nowadays there are still applications that do not save in the cloud.  And I would never have guessed to check it out before I allowed the system to restart.  Therefore, a poor rating.  also really cool

I’m a shift working emergency service worker with a kid and too much stuff going on! 

This app is a really fantastic... if you don’t want all the complicated stuff of a fancy calendar this does the basics that you need, you can cops and paste a shift pattern... and my favourite bit is that you can easily write notes on a date, I’ve just noted down that my kid has a doctors appointment next Wednesday... genuinely love this planner. Thanks to the developer

Absolutely LOVE this app. I’ve been using this app for a number of years now.  I have a number of shift patterns I need to maintain. This app makes is so easy to keep track of my hours.  I would advise setting aside some time for initial customising of shift labels and colours; once these are set, it is so easy to use and with the ability to see month on month shifts at a quick glance.  Hopefully this will be compatible with Apple Watch soon. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
