It works from IPhone to Huawei but doesn’t work by other way around. Waste of time

On the old 4s iPhone the app just does nothing.
It simply doesn't work
Launch the app, follow instructions to activate the Huawei phone's WiFi hotspot, connect this phone to the hotspot, return to the app.....and nothing. No 'Next' to proceed to transferring data.
