It's all a scam and defrauding consumers. I was unlucky to choose this company.

Don’t download

Nothing has changed in 6 years!!! This app is absolutely useless. Like the other reviewer said, after entering info to create an account - including passport number - the app fails to send the confirmation email.

Hong Kong Airlines should be ashamed of this app

This app is a barely functional web app. It’s a buggy, poorly laid out, poorly translated, abomination. This app reflects the true attitude of Hong Kong Airlines to its passengers. Simply shameful.

Probably the worst App I’ve ever used

Terrible. This App has so many bugs and discrepancies it is less than useless - it is a complete wast of time. After attempting to look up my tickets/itinerary/seating multiple times it became evident that several data entry fields on different screens are flawed. Some ask for given/first name only, but actually requires your first and middle name to be entered. On some screens you cannot put a space between your first and last name, but on others you can. It works (or doesn’t) different ways on different screens for something as basic as entering your name - without any explanation. If you are into problem solving games, then maybe you will like to try registering for an account or looking up you flight itinerary for trial & error entertainment purposes. BTW the verification code sent to my email never worked... not even once - after receiving and entering the code, resending and re-entering a half dozen times. Also - I called the “24 hour” help desk/customer service phone number in the USA several times a day for several days and nobody answered - not even an automated message or voicemail.

Apple wallet doesn’t work.

Pity.

App is horrific

It's a huge rigamarole to even get checked in and once you are they make it look like you can add your pass to your wallet but you can't. It just saves an image of the page. And if you leave that page you can never get there again. If you try to check in again it will tell you that you're checked in.

App not useful

Would love to have this app as usable... when we left US it is so easy to check-in online but once you are coming back it will not check you in therefore we need to be in line for an hour for the customer service to get us checked-in. The app won’t let you view months of booking opportunities you need to get in the computer to do it. The app for Hongkong Airline got a lot of potential but I guess they don’t know that. Please fix your app. Thanx!!!

Useless

I had the same issue as a previous reviewer with the confirmation email never arriving. In addition, after I set up my profile on a computer I then tried to log in on the app, but the validation code (slanty letters) appear as greyed out. So I couldn’t enter them to log in. I ended up deleting the app.
