森林之王老虎被捉到了动物园后，森林里面炸了锅！老虎的好朋友老鼠尤其难过。虽然老鼠和老虎体型差别巨大，但有一首流行歌曲唱得好啊——“老虎-老鼠，傻傻分不清楚”，就为这种缘分，老虎和老鼠结下了八拜之交，成为生死与共的好兄弟。

平日两人形影不离，现在老虎不见了，老鼠就像霜打的茄子——蔫了。家不可一日无主，山不可一日无王，森林里的各种动物都在想办法，最后还是足智多谋的猫头鹰有了主意，说，这事情还得依靠老虎的结拜兄弟老鼠。首先，老鼠的地下行进能力特别强，能有效躲避动物园的监控；第二，老鼠的亲戚朋友特别多，消息很灵，能快速打听到解救路线。

主意已定，大家赶紧去找老鼠商量，可是，自从老虎被捉走后，老鼠每天都很难过，提不起精神，整天躺在洞里睡大觉！大家赶紧叫醒老鼠，把这个伟大的计划告诉了他。听闻要去解救好兄弟，老鼠精神大振，立马从床上爬了起来，可由于好多天没胃口，没有进食吃饭，还没站稳，老鼠就摔倒在地！

没有力气，怎么能够远行？勇敢而忠诚的老鼠为了解决大哥，赶紧出去寻找食物补充体力。为了吃到更多更有营养的食品，老鼠不得不小心谨慎，躲开一个又一个的陷阱；也不得不努力奔跑，跨过高山，穿过小河，不辞辛苦，努力前行！
