館內共分五大區域「自然史教育館」、「故事館」、「生命演化館」、「化石館」、「探索館」，透過連結五大區域，進行古生物的時空大探險，使用者能透過AR遊戲互動獲得恐龍蛋，並完成修復時光機器的任務，透過完成任務認識古時代的古生物們同時也能了解台南在地挖掘出來的重要古生物。遊戲過程中隨著時光盒的修復，最終回朔到遠古的恐龍時代，並成功孵化手中的恐龍蛋。
經歷此次的文化體驗，使用者不僅對古生物更加了解，同時乘載著豐富的回憶，最後也能將孵化的小恐龍由園區帶回家，用AR的方式將小恐龍再現。
