This has got to be the most useful and easy to use App on the planet! Our newborn needed a careful record maintained and I was on top of the task...on paper! So glad I eventually thought to search the App Store and found FirstYear. A few taps here and there, then all the info collated perfectly. I love it. I rate it 10/10 for ease of use and 10/10 for being so simple to learn and use. Well done 👍🏻
Very handy app to keep and analyse data regarding your newborn life. The "sleep" and "feeding" pattern charts are extremely useful, since without them you wouldn't be able to realise how things are developing. Even though you have a lot of other categories, most of them are cannot be easily analysed ( i.e. you've got the history and that's all). If you spend time filling the app with data like "burped after feeding", "the colour and amount of pee in a diaper", "where the baby fell asleep", but then you cannot work with them (i.e. have them in a chart), it becomes almost useless to do this extra work. Also, it would be great if the "pattern charts" could be combined in one (user choice) to see what's happening in between feedings or sleepings. Example: if your baby is fussy and cannot sleep, I think it would be very interesting to see this in a pattern chart (when) and to be able to keep track of what made her calm down in a "frequency chart" (how).
