Die App funktioniert grundsätzlich wie sie soll. Es ist auch eine vernünftige Auswahl kostengünstiger oder sogar kostenloser Bücher vorhanden, die immer variiert.
Sie ist jedoch unübersichtlich und umständlich. Das einsortieren in Sammlungen ist umständlich, es können nicht mehrere Bücher einer Serie auf einmal gewählt werden. Die Sortierung in der Bibliothek ist nicht durchschaubar - hier wird bei der Auswahl „Autor“ nach Vor- und Nachnamen gemixt, bei der Sortierung Titel wird bei Serien der Serienname verwendet, was zwar grundsätzlich nachvollziehbar ist, aber nicht immer zum gewünschten Ergebnis führt. Im Bookstore muss man in den Charts immer erst das Genre wählen, ein Wechsel des Genres innerhalb der Listen Gratis und Gekauft ist nicht möglich. Das Bewegen innerhalb des Stores gestaltet sich teils etwas unübersichtlich. 
Toll wäre eine Merkliste für Bücher und Autoren, die man gerne liest.

Ich möchte an dieser Stelle einen konkreten Verbesserungsvorschlag machen, der mittels Apple Intelligence endlich realisierbar ist:
Da es nicht möglich ist markierte Textstellen zu kopieren und woanders einzufügen, ist es etwas mühselig Fachbegriffe nachzuschlagen oder übersetzen zu lassen. Mit Apple Intelligence könnte dies vereinfacht werden, ohne die App zu verlassen. Auch die Interpretation einer Textstelle könnte durch den Einsatz von KI unterstützt werden. Die KI wäre in diesem Szenario eine Art Sparrings Partner beim Lesen.

Ich nutze die App ausschließlich um Hörbücher zu hören. Leider habe ich seit einigen Monaten im Genre Liebesromane kaum nur nich eine sehr kleine Auswahl, meist auch nicht hörenswert. Auch ändert sich bei Neuerscheinungen nichts, bzw. hat man über Wochen keine neuen Bücher und auch da ist die Auswahl klein. Auch die Favoriten haben sich schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht verändert. Schade, aber ich werde, wenn sich das nicht ändert, eine andere App nutzen müssen. Auch, tauchen immer mehr „alte“ Romane in neuer Aufmachung auf, welche nicht als schon gekauft erkennbar sind. Wirklich enttäuschend

### ***-- "Not all Audiobooks are syncing"
Yesterday I converted some MP3 audiobooks in M4B format using Audiobook Builder. They were all converted with identical settngs. Most of them synced to my iPhone via iCloud but some didn‘t. The ones that did not sync were GOT episodes that are about 20 hours long. I tried reencoding to different bitrates and splitting them up to smaller files. Nothing helped. I searches the web for hours for useful information what the requirements are but couldn‘t find anything useful. Apple should make the requirements clear in a support article. My wife wad similar problems in the past and she had to transfer via cable. This is not an option for me bedause ut‘s either cable or iCloud. But I have far to many Books and PDFs to sync via cable manually.
