I am a big fan of reading. My goal is 2-3 hours a day… But I will love if some book were free. They are a little too expensive for me.

I love this app I like that it also has free options for the ones that do want to pay!!
Bookstore suddenly disappeared
I started using the app recently. I downloaded first a free book to see if this way of reading is good for me. I finished the book and I was ready for my first purchase. But suddenly the bookstore disappeared. I googled it and noticed that is a common issue. I played with settings and tried any possible solution in general. But nothing so far. It’s so frustrating.

Pretty good but not cross-platform
Generally good. Once it didn’t respond and I had to reconnect through the web browser. (Latest version also displays too small pictures of books that I’m reading, in order to leave a lot of space for advertising Apple books.) Main drawback: cannot read my books on non-iOS devices.
IOS library
It is really frustrating that I cannot read purchased books in other device than IOS... Hope someone to finally push Apple to stop these monopolized practices...
Text selection causes freeze
Books freezes when I try to select text in large PDFs (220mb). The taps run after about half a minute.
Why don’t you fix Apple Books? It is important for us
It has problems
I used to really like the app, but it seems to have bugs in the newest version
The app started showing some book collections as empty on both an iPhone I have and a MacBook, even though they had several books each. For some reason the specific collections seem to have the proper content in an iPad I have and is also using iCloud. I am really worried this will result in me losing several of my books. All devices are up to date, iCloud enabled in all of them, wasn’t able to find any solution so far :-(
