Ontdek miljoenen boeken en audioboeken
• Bekijk de bestsellers van vandaag, gratis boeken en speciale aanbiedingen voor lezers van alle leeftijden, plus gepersonaliseerde aanbevelingen.
• Ontdek verzamelingen die zijn samengesteld door het Apple Books-team en vind je volgende boek of audioboek in je favoriete genres, van misdaad en thrillers tot romantiek, geschiedenis, zelfontwikkeling en kinderboeken.
• Lees gratis de eerste paar pagina's van een boek of luister gratis naar een fragment van een audioboek.

Pas je leesvoorkeuren aan

Apple CarPlay
• De Audioboeken-app in Apple CarPlay is ontworpen met het oog op veiligheid en stelt je in staat om audioboeken te beluisteren tijdens het autorijden.
• Met grote knoppen kun je eenvoudig starten en stoppen, terug- of vooruitspoelen, en de vereenvoudigde bibliotheek helpt je bij het zoeken naar je volgende audioboek terwijl je je ogen op de weg houdt.

Apple Watch-functies
• Gebruik de Audioboeken-app op de Apple Watch om terug te keren naar je recente audioboeken of om vanaf je pols door je bibliotheek te bladeren.
• Gebruik de Watch-app op de iPhone om te kiezen welke audioboeken je naar je Apple Watch wilt downloaden.

Vereisten en beschikbaarheid van de Store
• Op je iPhone moet iOS 11 of nieuwer zijn geïnstalleerd.

Hi,

I’d love to see a few updates to improve usability on iPhone. First, please consider adding the ability to change book covers directly within the app—especially for personal or imported titles. This feature is currently missing and would be a great customization option for users who manage large libraries.

Second, more filter options would go a long way in helping users stay organized. Specifically, filters for Read/Unread status and Number of Pages would make it much easier to sort through collections and prioritize reading.

How "efficiently" you need to program a simple show-some-text-on-screen-app for it to be able to completely drain an ipad battery in under six hours? (battery view shows "books: 100%", all other apps: 0%.)

I know that an ipad is an expensive color LCD screen with which you can watch a battery drain... but still.

Zo balen ALLES ben ik kwijt. 
De app werkt niet meer. Je kunt niet meer op je boeken klikken er gebeurd NIETS. Alleen op de boeken die geld kosten kun je nog klikken. 
Al mijn gratis gedownloade boeken blijven inactief. Kan, als ik op de drie stippen klik (…) op downloaden klikken, maar ook dat doet niets. 

Ook kom ik niet meermin de store het wieltje blijft draaien. En, JA, ik heb verbinding met internet en NIETS aan mijn instellingen veranderd. De KINDLE app werkt gewoon wel, welke ik gedownload heb nadat BOOKS niet meer werkte. 

Waardeloos, ik lees altijd ‘‘s avonds en ‘‘s nachts in bed als ik wakker lig. 

 Nu kan ik NIETS meer met de app. 

En, JA, ook al meerdere keren helemaal verwijderd en opnieuw gedownload uit de Appstore. 

En, JA, ook al de iPad opnieuw uit en aan gezet.

Imagine doing a research and making a ton of highlights and important notes in your pdf and then everything completely disappears in a millisecond erasing all of the work you’ve put in and all of the thoughts you thought you saved. Stay away from this app if you have any serious intentions!!!

The new line guide feature has dramatically increased the amount of books I read on my phone. It helps me to read faster. And I almost never have to re-read previous lines, something I tend to do when I don’t use some kind of plastic reading guide. I like the line guide feature much better than my plastic guide.
