Apple Books on iPhone works great - any time I try to open Apple Books on iPad I have to open and close the app 7 times before it will MAYBE open any books. Extremely frustrating!!!! Kindle works great - no issues between devices. Makes me want to use that app more as it actually works.

This is the WORST book app EVER!!!!! The “sample” only shows the table of contents. It doesn’t show illustrations. When selecting an instructional book one would like to know if the illustrations are ideal. I’ve purchased 3 books and am TERRIBLY dissatisfied. I’ll NEVER use nor recommend this platform EVER. I’ll stick to Google playbooks 😊

I have a hard time listening to a book when words are not read correctly.  It is very frustrating. Wind turbines was pronounced with a long I sound in wind.  This is just an example of many mispronounced words.

When did this app become so useless. Its functionality hasn’t improved at all in the last decade and now it’s actually going the opposite direction. I opened a book I’ve had notes and highlights in for years, to find that the highlights are no longer visible?!? I can see them if I go to the highlights list but not in the actual book?? I see no reason to buy a book through Apple, using a service that is clearly not supported.

I was very happy and excited about this app till I made a purchase. I purchased a book and received a different book. You really have to search for things in this app. They need to organize it better and make it more simple to use. I was looking for customer service number and support on the app and couldn’t find it had to go on google and search for it. Horrible app!! After speaking to someone I was told I have to wait a couple days for them to evaluate the purchase and determine if I’ll be getting a return. Shouldn’t have to jump hoops for a simple purchase. Definitely need to update and fix this app.
