Easily see who is attending and make sure you never miss a moment by adding a Shared Album directly to the event. Whether you’re attending an event or hosting one yourself, Invites makes it easy to get the party started.

Create beautiful invitations:
* Choose a background from a curated set of options or pick a photo from your own library to catch your guests attention.
* Customize the font of your invitation so it feels just right.
* Maps and Weather are automatically added to make sure guests have all the details.

Invite and manage RSVPs:
* Invite others with just a link using any messaging platform.
* Guests can RSVP in the iPhone app or on the web from any device.
* Keep guests up to date on any last minute items by posting a message in the event for all to see.

Fuel the party with Music and relive it with Photos:
* Add a collaborative playlist so guests get to hear their favorite songs at the party.
* Include a Shared Album so everyone can add their favorite photos from the event.
* Access to collaborative playlists and Shared Albums is automatically given to guests in your event.

Requirements:
* Apple Invites is available for all iPhone models running iOS 18 or later.
* Ability to collaborate with Apple Music Playlists requires an Apple Music subscription.
* Anyone can reply to invitations. Creation of invitations requires an iCloud+ subscription.

I really enjoy using this app to make invites for events and the ease of creation and sharing. I do wish you had the option to add a Co-Host to the event. It would also be nice if you could view photo captions inside the Invites App. The shared playlist feature would be really nice if even users without Apple Music could be able to add music to the playlist, solely for the fact of adding to the playlist, not being able to play if not a subscriber. So if at the event, the playlist was played during the function, it would include everyone’s choice. Just some thoughts, but great app.

An app I didn’t know I needed! Hosting a lot of events and gatherings with friends, this makes keeping track of attendance incredibly easy with beautifully sent digital invitations. My only complaint is that I can’t hide my guest list from those I’m inviting. I’d like to have a privacy option where I can choose if I want the guest list to be shown to others or not. Hopefully something for a future update.

Very easy to set up an event. However unable to edit an rsvp. Also very clumsy on the recipient side. Invitees can’t see anything unless they sign in or set up an iCloud account which is a problem for Android users. Other apps don’t require this.

Thank you for giving me a way to create e-invites without paying for it.  This simple app makes a lot of sense to offer.  It’s a great thing for Apple as it gets people to use your map, photo and music platforms.  However, there are a few much needed improvements that you REALLY MUST address.  Please add a way to set the time zone for the event.  I just sent an invite for ET when I’m in PT.  My guests see an event that will start at 2pm instead of 11am.  Please allow the note field to be editable and allow someone to paste text into the note field.  I would up re-typing this note several times as details about the event changed.  Thanks for saving the e-invite until I can come back and finish it.  Thanks for allowing me to send the e-invite via Message to a group of numbers.  This is possible through the share button.  That’s it for now.  I’ll share more after the event.

I really wanted to love this but it’s no where near good enough to ditch other platforms anytime soon. Started down this path for my daughter’s party with 50 guests. We are an Apple family and we read that email is not required and Android users can still access. We printed invitations with a QR code since I didn’t have all of the emails or numbers for guests. Had some close friends text who are Android users, and they ran into issues if they had an email associated with a past Apple ID, and people said it was clunky and a hassle due to verification process. Other Apple users said it forced them to log into Apple and wasn’t as seamless. Also, we learned that comments are public from attendees in the chat on the invite and as a host, I can’t hide them. 

We shifted last minute because of these issues. Even though it’s no additional cost for me as a Cloud+, I went with a paid service on a different platform because of the superior experience and better functionality. Thank goodness for dynamic QR codes. Hoping to see better changes for Apple invite in the future.

The application already has a great set of features, but here are a few suggestions for improvement:

1. **Calendar Creation for the Invite**: For example, if the invite is for a weekend in Las Vegas, friends could include all the locations and events in a shared calendar.
   
2. **Custom Links and Updates**: It would be beneficial to add the option for custom links, perhaps to a group message that includes all attendees.
   
3. **Cost Breakdown and Payment Integration**: Consider including an option to list items and their associated costs, and potentially integrate Apple Cash to facilitate splitting these costs.

4. **Facetime Group Call Link**: Adding a link to initiate a Facetime group call would enhance communication among attendees.

I did find the user guide. Also, glad to know people will be forced to create an Apple Account to see the invite.

This app has one fatal flaw that makes me not want to use it. 

Opening it for the first time, it was a nice simple app. But once I finished my invite and sent it out, is where the problem starts. I didn’t get a single response. I asked the invitees and they said they clicked “going” but nothing showed on my end so I scrapped it and gave up. 

Now about a month later I try again. Create the invite, send it out and nothing again. I reach out to the invitees again and they all said that they clicked going. I check the invite and nothing. 

Then one invitee notices a small innocuous “submit” text button at the top.  YOU HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN TO CHECK GOING THEN SCROLL BACK UP TO HIT SUBMIT! 

Thats a pretty big flaw. 

Why not just have the Going/Not Going be a toggle? A simple toggle! 

Or maybe when you tap “Going”, a submit button appears below your choice. 

I shouldn’t have to instruct all the people I’m inviting on how to use this app. It should be intuitive. 

Please fix this. Until then, I won’t be using it.

I understand what they are trying to do, but partiful is already a wayyy better app. Its available on Android. You can send text blasts to people part of your event so they are immediately notified. And you login with your phone number so you don’t need to sign in or anything like that to see your event or previous events. This is a clear attempt at Apple trying to copy partiful, but copied in a piss poor way. At minimum you should be able to send text blasts to people regardless of platform and not require and apple id to sign in.
