Can’t play Minecraft Movie by screen mirror or through the TV app.  Just bought movie from Apple for $30!.  Plays for 3 minutes then says “This video is in a format that can't be streamed to this TV.” New

I went looking for shows that it said were on Apple TV only to find they weren’t there or needed to be paid for. Some of the content is free with the subscription on other apps but had to be paid for on Apple TV. The shows I did find all said open in the apps I already pay for.

If you buy video content from Apple, the Library section of the app is awful to use. It doesn’t let you pick up the episode you’re watching from the main page, instead you have to scroll through Season after Season of shows to get to your episode. Also if you download your video content and try to access it offline without navigating into the Download section with a wifi connection first, it won’t show you your downloaded content.
Makes downloading it to watch it offline pretty useless.

It allows linking your content providers such as prime video to see your content from other platforms. Sadly it doesn't let you watch other platforms within the app.
If I subscribe to apple TV inside of prime video I can watch apple TV in prime video so why doesnt Apple allow similar functionality?

Also all the apple TV content is lgbtqia+ garbage, I only have it because icloud doesn't give enough data to do the most basic of backup to it without the paid version.

Downloads of movies I’ve purchased for rent simply stall indefinitely, or give a vague “cannot be downloaded at this time” error. I re downloaded the app, I restarted my phone, I checked and double checked my connections, and still didn’t solve. This caused me to miss out on the opportunity of watch a movie I had rented on a long flight. Not pleased.

The UI is really quite confusing to use. For example, how do I find material that I have downloaded previously? And how do I return to a series I’ve been watching? It’s all very confusing compared with Netflix and Amazon prime
