## AquaChek Connect Reviews in United States

### *---- "App no good"
Camera will not focus as close up as you have to have it to align the strip. Cannot take photo in manual either. Might as well stick with cheaper options strips with only the color guide.
-- HOLLIESTR, 2026-04-11

### *---- "Fails on three counts"
First, the app tells you to place the dipped strip on “the grey background of the plastic comparator.” Which is not included with the strips. Second, it tells you to “markers with the first pad and black square on the strip.” There is no black square. So I inked one in. Third, the app never captures the strip, whether you leave it in Auto mode or attempt to take the photo manually. Total fail.
-- tycho1206, 2026-04-11

### **--- "Can’t get camera to pick up strip"
iPhone 16 Plus. No issues with camera. Never picks up the strip. Tried in sun, shade, indoor and outdoor.
-- DavefromDemop, 2026-04-10

### *---- "Never works"
Title of the review says it all I’ve never been able to get this to actually work…
-- kjozz_itunes, 2026-03-29

### *---- "Garbage app, don’t waste your time"
This app is complete garbage. Didn’t matter swhat I did with a the test strip, it would not read it when I took a picture. I literally bcc gas’s tried for an hour. I just my went and guys g bought another kit.
-- Ryno608607, 2026-03-10

### *---- "Terrible photo reading"
The test strips are fine. But this app is absolutely horrible at reading the strips. Way better off just comparing the strips to the chart with the bottle. pH was clearly in the 7’s and it continued to read it as 8.4.
-- Riding2Win, 2026-03-03

### *---- "Completely unusable"
This promises to simplify spa management. Just dip the strip. Put it on a grey background. Line up the pads. Wait 16 seconds for the automatic photo. Read your results. Except which pads up? No understandable advice. No video demo. I tried multiple variations. Nothing worked. Ever. This has been a total waste of my money and time.
-- That will do., 2026-02-28

### *---- "Disappointed"
The idea of an app to read the test strips and recommend solutions is awesome, that’s why I bought this expensive strips, but I am disappointed.
Firstly, it doesn’t capture the strips images easily, secondly, I have to always switch to Cal Hypo option and then save each time before using it, automatically defaults to Trichloro.
Third, for each test, I have to go through about 4 to 5 strips then take an average because all 5 results are different.
Currently, I’m looking for an alternative test kit.
-- Brokes M, 2025-12-21

### *---- "This app has one job and it failed"
This app cannot take photos no matter what. It has one job and it failed at that.
-- bruintoo, 2025-12-03

### *---- "Doesn’t Work"
Terrible app the camera feature doesn’t work
-- Mr_Dr_Pepper, 2025-11-25
