AquaTru Water Purifier

I cant log into the app. The forgot my password option brings up a screen to enter phone number which always throws an error. Once I did get a text with a code for signin… but there is no where to paste it in the form. I love the water filter until the app died. Now there is no way for me to know if the filters need replacing. From what I’ve read on the other reviews, this has been a problem for a problem time. And as a software engineer… there is no excuse for no fixing this app in short order, much less weeks or what appears to be many months. Extremely disappointed.

It's a big disappointment. I bought a $500 machine just to find out that this app has 1 star for a reason. I installed the app, connected to the filter wifi and I couldn't proceed. Getting error "Cannot connect to purifier"

App doesn’t work

Wish I’d read these reviews prior to buying the wifi version. App logged me out and keeps telling me my credentials are incorrect, which is not true. Resetting my the password also doesn’t work. The app itself does nothing but track status of the filters… there’s no actual beneficial data being collected. Worthless.

Won’t connect to wifi despite several attempts. “Connected” on the first try but, won’t recognize the connection despite showing as connected on my eero network. Waste of money. Don’t buy their wifi device or return it for a basic model until they decide to actually troubleshoot their product.

Not only can I not even create an account and log in, but you have to give it permission to know your precise location or it won't work. That's unacceptable. Until this is fixed, I will give this water purifier the absolute worst review possible every place I can leave a review on the internet!

The app hasn’t worked since the day I got the purifier. The purifier itself is great, but I can’t even use the app. Like all others, I paid extra for the “connect” model so I could use the app, but I haven’t been able to CONNECT at all. I’m sure I’ll get a response to this instructing me to call customer service, but nobody has time for that. It is an inconvenience, and it doesn’t appear that there is resolution to the issues even after contacting them. Just make an app that works with the product as advertised or don’t sell it.

I’m extremely disappointed with the Aqutru app. Despite following the instructions to the letter, the app never connects to my “smart” unit. I paid an extra $50 for this so-called “smart” feature, and it’s completely useless. The app freezes, fails to detect the unit, and leaves me constantly troubleshooting. Aqutru’s customer service? No help. For the price I paid, I expected a seamless experience, not this frustrating mess. Save your money and avoid this app – it’s a waste of time and money.

Both my wife and I are having issues with the app and connecting to the wifi, same as the vast majority of the other reviewers here. This is unacceptable, we paid an extra $50 for nothing. The company should refund this amount if incapable of remedying the issue.

Requires location services or app will not run. Developers claim it is to understand water conditions in your area. This should be optional as I just want to know the filter levels.
