為協助大甲溪發電廠發展環境教育擴增實境(AR)互動學習平台，以利後續大甲溪發電廠的環境教育場域認證，由國立臺中教育大學開發本APP搭配環境教育活動或是觀光旅遊進行互動式導覽解說與線上評量。
本APP導覽與環境教育實施範圍包含以下6個大甲溪發電廠鄰近景點
(一)、 天輪電廠發電
(二)、 電力文物館
(三)、 電力公園
(四)、 眺望鷺鷥島
(五)、 魚道設施體驗
(六)、 發呆亭周遭生態
