They said it was so great, free to use, and then I got on here with no free version. Would love to have a simple free version of this app to use then subscribe for additional features. -- Boy.mama33, 2026-09-30 ### ***-- "Hate the Updates" I found this app over a month and a half ago and loved the simplicity of it (it was also free) then a few weeks go by and I have to update and select a subscription that came with a 30 day free trial. Fine. Now you are apparently taking that away and now only offering a 14 day free trial before the subscription kicks in…. Kind of sus. I don’t think this app is worth it. Unfortunately, it’s the only thing I know of right now that you can use to scan books. Buyer beware!?!? -- Juststoplz, 2026-09-26 ### ***** "Latest update" Color me impressed! I left a review about a feature that changed that I didn’t like, and the developers were so responsive and made a change! I truly appreciate that, taking time to listen to my feedback! Impressive! -- To.Tom., 2026-09-17 ### ****- "Beware: Subscription Needed" I literally found this app not even a week ago and was able to label our home library books for my child now that he’s started AR reading at school. Scanning feature makes it easy to find ar level and quiz no. I had to update app and now it’s asking to subscribe. had to delete. -- boymom:P, 2026-09-14 ### **--- "Can’t cancel subscription" After update, it forced to subscribe to a annual plan. Although it says cancel any time, there is no way to cancel it at all. You can only switch to a different plan but no button to cancel it! Don’t update! -- Sherry7776, 2026-09-14 ### *---- "AR Book Assisttent" The Search For Author and stuff never works I type in a book and then it says ‘sorry please try again’ and when I use ISBN it says ‘sorry this book is not in the library -- Kinsleigh Martin, 2026-03-19 ### ***** "Best app" I tried every free app and so far this is the best one -- RPASPGH, 2025-11-18 ### **--- "It WOULD OF been a good app" I was trying to search up a book but it kept giving me a warning saying to try again then i logged in then logged out but it still wouldn’t work im on mobile ipad by the way -- Kaylie Johnson, 2025-09-27 ### ***** "Love this" Typing in every book on the AR website to see the level is so tedious. I love this app being able to keep track of what my children have read and the scanner is amazing. -- krystyl83, 2025-09-18 ### ***** "Good app" So far this app is working really well to help me find AR books quickly for my child, however; the “quiz not taken” library is not working. I have tagged several books as “quiz not taken” under my child’s name to save the book, but it is not saved. -- Booogaloo, 2025-08-20 [View all AR Book Assistant reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to AR Book Assistant - [Coshocton County Sheriff](https://apptail.io/app/coshocton-county-sheriff-Hume/united-states) - [Benton Carroll Salem LSD](https://apptail.io/app/benton-carroll-salem-lsd-aWPe/united-states) - [Church Experience](https://apptail.io/app/church-experience-EYcf/united-states) - [Nebraska Extension](https://apptail.io/app/nebraska-extension-zQdf/united-states) - [Johnson County Schools](https://apptail.io/app/johnson-county-schools-unqf/united-states) - [InstaSub](https://apptail.io/app/instasub-ewQf/united-states) - [My Pets: Cat & Dog Animal Game](https://apptail.io/app/my-pets-cat-dog-animal-game-rydj/united-states) - [Rockharbor](https://apptail.io/app/rockharbor-jjgj/united-states) - [AR Reading List](https://apptail.io/app/ar-reading-list-iptj/united-states) - [Daysee - Celebrate the Day!](https://apptail.io/app/daysee-celebrate-the-day-Nlmm/united-states) ## AR Book Assistant Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/ar-book-assistant-cZdt/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/ar-book-assistant-cZdt/canada) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
